World BankAug 2026

The World Bank projects Morocco's economy to grow around 4.2% in 2026, easing from a decade-high 4.9% in 2025, with medium-term growth put at about 4.3%. Investment spending is forecast to rise 11.2% this year, driven by major infrastructure projects and 2030 World Cup preparations.

The Bank describes Morocco's recent expansion as its strongest in a decade, underpinned by public investment and resilient domestic demand.

A stable, investing neighbour strengthens the case for cross-Strait business — the connections GMBA exists to support.
